Apex Legends Dev Contemplating Legal Action Against Hackers & DDoSers
Cheaters, DDoSers, and hackers have always been a major problem in Apex Legends, but developer Respawn is considering taking some serious legal action against perpetrators in an effort to resolve, or at least proactively mitigate, the issue. After taking a look at what steps have already been taken in order to curb cheating, Respawn has conceded that banning the perps isn't enough, and more extreme steps are needed. Even though Apex Legends has been free to play since it was released in 2019, hackers and cheaters still heavily diminish the experience, and turn players off entirely from a game where it's becoming increasingly difficult to win fairly.
