Tenet Will Now Screen At Los Angeles Drive-In Theaters
The slow and unusual theatrical rollout of Christopher Nolan's Tenet continues, with several Los Angeles drive-in theaters now set to screen the blockbuster. The release of Tenet was pushed back numerous times to account for closed movie theaters around the country and world, a result of the coronavirus pandemic. When the rollout of the film finally began in earnest on the last day of August, drive-ins were expected to play a part in whether or not the decision to release would be successful. Drive-in theaters have seen a rebound in popularity as a safe and socially distant way to watch movies on a big screen with a sizable crowd.
