Comic book adaptations of modern-day movies are quite rare these days, but the adaptation of Snakes on a Plane starring Samuel L. Jackson is a holdover from another era in which cross-media promotion was the norm (even if the audience for one wouldn't necessarily tune in to another). Unfortunately the comic failed to maintain what was arguably the most important line in the film, and suffers for it.
